Lucy
Lucy Casson lives and works in London gathering inspiration for her sculptures from everyday
scenes and
imagined scenarios. Since the early nineteen eighties she has been
working with recycled tin, cloth and found objects, creating
narratives, often
humorous, with creatures which combine both human and animal
characteristics. She
exhibits internationally and in addition, makes larger works for public
commissions
using a variety of materials such as copper, concrete, cast iron and
bronze. A selection of her smaller pieces are
available from Wobage makers Gallery.
